At Windrose Academy, we believe literacy is the key to learning.Our aim is to motivate young children to read by working with them, their parents and community members to make reading a fun and beneficial part of everyday life.

We encourage our students to read for pleasure, to develop a passion for reading and to acquire 21st century learning skills such as the ability to effectively source and make use of information and ideas.
