6th of October Celebration

Oct 11,2021

Our previous week was full of excitement and patriotism. Our lovely students prepared themselves for the celebration of the 6th of October Victory. Songs were sung and performances were heart-warming. The students rolled up their sleeves and made battle plans, as well as a lovely art gallery expressing their viewpoints on the historical battle.

Please be sure your child is wearing a mask upon entering school and has extras available in case of lost, misplaced, or dropped the mask. This helps us to maintain our level of safety for all. We appreciate the home-school partnership in supporting our protocols.

Stay tuned for more news and fun at Windrose Academy.

What a wonderful second week of school it’s been!

Oct 04,2021

What a wonderful second week of school it’s been! The students have all settled in, and the real academic work has now begun! This past week was a lot more active and exciting as we hailed many new beginnings. We opened our new library for checkouts. The students were all excited to browse through the new extension and check out the latest additions to our collection.

We also celebrated FS2 Emotions Day where our darling FS students paraded through in creative outfits expressing emotions. Our students in Key Stage two and three have begun their rehearsals and preparation for our annual 6th of October event. Their beautiful singing voices have filled our halls. We eagerly look forward to seeing them perform and to every coming week of this academic year.

Best regards,

First Full Week of School

Sep 28,2021

This past week marks the first full week of school in this academic year. We had a very busy week of working on routines, processes, and the introduction into every unit in every year group and subject. It’s been wonderful seeing our students ready and excited at the line-up, dressed up in their uniforms, and happily in charge of their own learning. A few notes for the coming weeks: A healthy breakfast and enough sleep can make all the difference in a student’s day! Stay tuned for upcoming events this term! A reminder that the lineup will begin at 7:45 am sharp and students need to be in class with all resources and materials by 8:00 am. Let’s make this year a BLAST!

Welcome Back to a New Academic Year!

Sep 20,2021

Another wonderful academic year has begun! We are so excited to have welcomed back all our students and the lovely new students who joined our community this year. Our year started off with a blast! FS students celebrated their arrival with a party, play time and some hilarious shows! Who says you can’t dance your way into school?!

Our older students were so happy to see the familiar faces of their friends and teachers. Mask wearing continues throughout our campus as well as ventilation and strict sanitization measures. We hope that this will be a very fruitful academic year and that all our students and staff will remain safe and in good health!

Welcome back from spring break!

May 19,2021

Welcome back from spring break. We are now proceeding with the hybrid model of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday in-person classes. Wednesday and Thursday will all be online classes. Please communicate with your child’s teachers if you can not locate the Zoom links or Google Classroom information. We encourage regular online attendance during these days as it will be building on what has been covered during the week and also a time for questions and clarifications for students.

LOST AND FOUND: We have a lot of lost and found winter clothing – please pass by and check if your student’s belongings are there.
