A note to please be on time to pick your children up. There is no scheduled supervision after school. Students will be seated outside the reception area after pick-up time.

We have a full week this week of learning and fun activities. Year 4 and 5 will be having some fun lunchtime activities organized by the PE Department. KS2 are continuing their talent show auditions. Year 1 and 2 will be having a fun Galabiya Day on Thursday with some Ramadan activities in preparation for the anticipated start of Ramadan next week. Year 6 and 8 are continuing their revision for Checkpoint Exams next week. We wish them all the best. Ramadan schedules will be shared shortly.

Welcome to the last week of March and the beginning of April. It’s a busy week in Year 6 and 8 as they will be completing mock exams. KS2 Student Council will be holding a spring plant sale after school from Monday to Wednesday of this week. Come on out and buy some beautiful spring plants. KS2 is also beginning their auditions for their talent show. It’s a very busy time around the school.

Please remember to dress students in layers as the mornings are cool and the afternoons are warm. Please pack lots of water as well for these warm and dry afternoons.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our lovely Windrose mothers. Students in FS and KS1 are busy this week recording songs and dances to celebrate the special day. These will be sent by teachers for parents to enjoy.

Year 6 and Year 8 are busy preparing for their Checkpoint Exams. Teachers are holding support sessions after school and are assisting students to feel prepared and relaxed for these exams. We wish them all the best on these exams.

Welcome to a full week of learning and fun! This week will be a full week of working hard in all classes and maintaining routines and structure for our students.

Students will be taking home their midterm reports during this week. This is a midpoint check-in. It was a challenge as most of this was during online instruction. We encourage students to talk to their teachers and seek extra help and support from them. They are always available to assist students in their learning journey. Midterm reports are one point in their education journey. We are still on the path to complete Term 2 in-person and head towards spring.

We hope everyone has enjoyed their midterm break after an intense week of exams for KS2/3/4. We will now turn our focus to the second half of term 2. Face-to-face learning will continue and be the direction for the rest of the term at least.
